Australian native pittosporum. Outside its native range it has become a very invasive species and care should be taken in making a decision about its use. However it has become a weed in all states of australia except for the northern territory. It is sometimes also known as sweet pittosporum native daphne australian cheesewood victorian box or mock orange. Leaf leaf size varies the small leaf varieties are best for more formal hedges. This plant is native to eastern australia where it grows in rainforest wet and dry sclerophyll forest and woodland.
